The Future

Feeding The Fire already has a companion website where viewers can download their favorite recipes and get more detailed information about fire safety around the kitchen and what to do in an emergency. A companion cookbook is also planned with recipes from the different firehouses. Proceeds to benefit the National Fallen Firefighters Foundation, created by the United States Congress to develop and expand programs to honor our fallen fire heroes and assist their families and coworkers.

South Carolina: Gullah is more than a Creole language for the firefighters of Charleston: it represents the essence of struggle, spirituality, perseverance and tradition as taught to them by their ancestors, and is characterized by sweet potato pie, Gullah style.

If the pizza is thin, it must be New York City and if its Sunday, its football with the National Public Safety League which promotes a positive self image by raising funds for charity through spirited competition. We’ll visit Engine 252 whose house lost five members on 9/11/2001.
